Every fall, our school elects a student council with representatives from grades three through six. The Student Council periodically organizes school-wide events. Any school-wide issues may be submitted for discussion. Meetings are generally held before or after school. The student council also runs the school store, located off of the main lobby. The Student Council is under the direction of a parent advisor. This year student council members have worked hard to organize both a towel drive and a blanket drive for the Household Goods Recycling Ministry. At the end of February, the student council organized a coin drive to benefit animals in need. The annual Student Council Carnival will be held at Gates School on Friday, March 14, from 6:30-7:30.
