Students in grades two through six receive basic computer instruction for forty-five minutes every other week; kindergarten and first grade receive twenty minutes of instruction every week. The program is funded by the Gates PTO and is instructed by a non-certified teacher. Computer lab instruction focuses on basic technology skills to enhance learning, issues of ethics and safety relating to the use of electronic media, and the application of technology tools for communication, creativity, research, problem-solving and decision-making to enhance learning.
