The Gates School Chorus is open to all students in grade four through six. Practices are currently held before school on Wednesdays. In addition to the Gates School Chorus, student in grades four through six who are highly interested in singing may join the Select Chorus. Select Chorus practices Thursdays after school. Students participating in chorus have opportunities to perform at Gates School assemblies, Gates Chorus concerts, the Pan Choral Concert at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, and other special events. This year, the chorus visited and performed for two nursing homes, Robbins Brook Senior Living Community and Life Care Center of Acton.
